Amys Gift in a Jar Chocolate Chip Cookies

This cookie is better than tollhouse cookies and oatmeal cookies. In fact, it is a combination of the 2 all-american cookies, and it is just fabulous and flavorful. And it fits in a quart jar for gifting.
Ingredients
- Jar Contents shopping list
- 3/4 cup flour shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 6 Table. brown sugar shopping list
- 6 Table. white sugar shopping list
- 6 oz. chocolate chips( I break up bittersweet chocolate in a ziploc bag,and bang at the chocolate with my rolling pin) shopping list
- 1 cup oats shopping list
- 1/2 cup nuts shopping list
- Add-ons list for gift tag. shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter-flavored Crisco (may use butter or part butter) shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- Mix wet together; mix dry together and combine the two. shopping list
How to make it
- 375 degrees F preheat oven
- (2nd part of gift tag!)
- After combining ingredients, drop onto prepped cookie sheet by teaspoonsful.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Enjoy !!

I love this Chocolate Chip Cookie in a Jar recipe and I sure wish I had noticed it a couple of months ago. Well, at least I found it now and that is the main thing ;) High 5!
