AFGHAN CHICKEN KEBOBS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Boyd Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1987.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1-1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into kebobs

Directions
  1. Mix yogurt, salt, pepper and garlic in a bowl.
  2. Mix chicken with yogurt and marinate 2 hours at room temperature.
  3. Thread chicken on skewers and grill over medium hot coals.
