How to make it

  • Start by stripping chicken of the meat and chopping into bite size pieces.Chop the onions,peppers,cilantro,and garlic.Melt the butter in a stock pot on medium heat and add the onions,peppers,and garlic,let it cook for 3 minutes until softened not browned.Add the chicken broth,bay leaf,cumin,coriander,white pepper,white beans,and frozen corn.Let it simmer covered on low for 15-20 minutes.(Remove the bay leaf )Now add the jack cheese,half and half,lime juice,habanero sauce, green chili's, and cilantro and let simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.Finally finish by adding the chicken and the sour cream and serve with some orange fish crackers on top, and hot sauce on the side so everyone can adjust their own heat tolerance.
