Oatmeal Leek Soup Recipe

	Chefmeow / All my dishes 2 years, 5 months ago I have not been brave enough to try this yet. I obtained it at an estate sale a few years back. I have it in my CURIOUS file....if anybody tries it please let me now how it come sout. I like everything in it, I'm just curious about how this would taste.... Ingredients

1 small leek

3-1/2 cups whole milk

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup quick cooking oats

Directions

Trim the leek then wash well and mince.

In a saucepan bring leeks, milk, pepper and salt to a boil then simmer for 2 minutes then stir in oats.

Cook 2 minutes then serve immediately.
