This is a basic recipe for the sweet base and options to add your choice of other ingredients

Ingredients
  • ½ cup light Karo syrup
  • ¼ cup honey’
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • Add 1 cup peanut butter.
  • Cocoa Puffs
  • Chex
  • Shoestring potatos
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Nuts
  • Cheerios

Directions
  1. Bring first 3 ingredients to boil and boil for about 7 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Add vanilla and peanut butter
  4. Add chips or morsels
  5. Stir until well blended
  6. Pour over 4 cups of a dry ingredient as listed above or use your imagination
  7. Mix well.
  8. Drop by spoonful onto waxed paper. Allow to cool.
  9. Store in air-tight container
