Ingredients

How to make it

  • In small skillet cook bacon until fried crisp - set aside to cool.
  • Drain pinto beans and place in large bowl.
  • Add cabbage, celery, parsley and onion to bowl.
  • Crumble bacon into bowl.
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • For sauce:
  • Combine all sauce ingredients.
  • Pour over salad mixture.

    Sounds great! Those church cookbooks are terrific, aren't they? I have several and check the thrift store every time I go in. A lot of my recipes start with a base from a church cookbook. Hugs, Anj
