Pea Casserole Recipe
This our family's version of the Green bean casserole since we are not big fans of green beans. Our holiday's would not be the same without it.

Ingredients
  • 2-14.5 oz. cans of Peas
  • 2-10.5 oz. cans of Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1 cup cubed Velveta cheese
  • 1 cup crushed saltine crackers

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. I usually just mix this in the same Pyrex baking dish I am going to bake it in.
  3. Drain the peas before adding to dish. Add cream of mushroom soup, cheese and crackers. Mix well. You can add more cheese or crackers if desired.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese turns golden brown.

I hate green beans! This is a great idea. I will be using frozen peas though. And you can't beat Velveeta.
