Meatballs And Tomato Sauce

- Meatballs: shopping list
- 1 1/2 lb. of lean ground beef shopping list
- 3/4 lb. of lean ground pork shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 Medium onion minced shopping list
- 1 cup bread crumbs shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 1 large can Italian tomatoes -diced shopping list
- 1 can fire roasted tomatoes shopping list
- 1 can tomatoe paste shopping list
- 1 medium onion -minced shopping list
- 12 cloves garlic -minced shopping list
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- I use my chopper to mince onions and garlic shopping list
How to make it
- Sauce:
- Combine tomatoes and tomato paste and stir until combined and add 1 cup of water.
- Add the Onion, Garlic, Italian Seasoning, Salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, turn down to medium low and simmer for 2 hours.

- Meatballs:
- Combine beef, Pork, Onions, Eggs, Breadcrumbs, Salt and pepper. I use my mixer but you can use your hand.
- Form into 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch balls and place on baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

- When sauce is done combine with meatballs.
- Great served over spaghetti or on a sub.
