How to make it

  • Beat butter and pudding mix for 30 seconds.
  • Beat in egg until combined.
  • Add flour and soda and mix.
  • Stir in food coloring and chocolate chips.
  • Drop by rounded teaspoon 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
  • Press cherry half into top center of each cookie.
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes.
  • Cool on a wire rack.

    This is a great recipe. I make these cookies every year at the holidays and sometimes just because I'm hungry for them. They just melt in your mouth!

    How interesting! This recipe is very unique to me. I have never tried making a cookie recipe using pudding mix. I'm a pistachio lover and can only imagine just how good your cookies are going to be! Thank you very much for posting this recipe!
