Amazing Stuffed Peppers

- 3 cups cooked brown rice shopping list
- 1 chopped onion shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, minced shopping list
- "Amazing Dairyless Spread"**(not available where I live) shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped cabbage shopping list
- 1 tomato cubed shopping list
- 1 carrot, grated shopping list
- 1 tsp. parsley shopping list
- 1tsp. tamari shopping list
- pinch of oregano and basil shopping list
- 1/2 lb. tofu, cubed and sprinkled with 1/3 cup tamari * shopping list
- 1/3 cup tomato sauce or salsa* shopping list
- 3/4 cup grated cheese or parmesan * shopping list
- salt to taste* shopping list
- *my substitutions for the "ADS" shopping list
- **a blend of cashews, sesame seeds, brewers yeast, lemon juice, sea salt, agar, and spices shopping list
How to make it
- Cut the tops off of 7 green peppers. Clean, saving tops. Steam them for 5 minutes. Drain, add filling, and place on a pie pan. A smear of tomato sauce and a bit of grated cheese, lastly garnish with parsley and replace top. Cook at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes 'til tops are lightly browned.
