How to make it

  • For the crust
  • Crush wafers into fine crumbs (use food processor is possible).
  • Melt butter and add to crumbs.
  • Pat crumbs firmly to bottom and sides of 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • Hold back 1/2 cup of crumbs for later.
  • Filling
  • Bring milk almost to a boil.
  • Add marshmallows, stirring over low heat until completely melted.
  • Let mixture cool and then add Creme de Cocoa and Creme de Menthe
  • Whip the whipping cream to firm peaks and then gently fold into marshmallow mixture.
  • Pour over crust.
  • Sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
  • Cover with plastic wrap or foil and put immediately into freezer.
  • Freeze 24 hours before serving.
  • When ready to serve thaw for about 30 to 60 minutes.
