Tawny Pumpkin Pie Recipe
This is my favorite pumpkin pie recipe. Recipe from Farm Journal.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cup Pumpkin; cooked and mashed
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Flour
  • 2 whole Eggs; slightly beaten
  • 1 cup Evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 - 9 inch Unbaked pie shell

Directions
  1. Combine pumpkin, sugar, salt, spices and flour in mixing bowl.
  2. Add eggs; mix well.
  3. Add evaporated milk, water and vanilla; mix.
  4. Pour into pie shell.
  5. Bake in 400 oven 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
  6. Cool on rack.
  7. Makes 6-8 servings.
