This is a very easy cake make but very rich on taste. Buttery, lemony, moist and delicious. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 3 sticks butter at room temperature
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • 6 eggs at room temperature
  • 1 pound flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions
  1. Cream together butter and sugar then add eggs one at a time then add flour a little at a time.
  2. Once the flour is all mixed in add extracts and lemon juice.
  3. Pour batter into a tube pan then heat oven to 350 then place in oven for 1-1/2 hours.
  4. Check cake after one hour and then every ten minutes.
  5. This is a very thick cake and is good for breakfast or with strawberries and cream for dessert.

Can you say butter? A slice of buttery decadence right on my own little dessert plate. Thanks so much for this, meow. Five. AND thanks also for the interesting tuna salad. I've used the relish but never apples. A must try for me. Also I can't even imagine how moist the apple must keep that wonderful meatloaf. I'm almost sorry we had meatloaf last night!
