Ingredients

3 sticks butter at room temperature

1 pound powdered sugar

6 eggs at room temperature

1 pound flour

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon lemon extract

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

Cream together butter and sugar then add eggs one at a time then add flour a little at a time.

Once the flour is all mixed in add extracts and lemon juice.

Pour batter into a tube pan then heat oven to 350 then place in oven for 1-1/2 hours.

Check cake after one hour and then every ten minutes.

This is a very thick cake and is good for breakfast or with strawberries and cream for dessert.
