Westerner Cake

This is a very easy cake make but very rich on taste. Buttery, lemony, moist and delicious. Enjoy
Ingredients
- 3 sticks butter at room temperature shopping list
- 1 pound powdered sugar shopping list
- 6 eggs at room temperature shopping list
- 1 pound flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- Cream together butter and sugar then add eggs one at a time then add flour a little at a time.
- Once the flour is all mixed in add extracts and lemon juice.
- Pour batter into a tube pan then heat oven to 350 then place in oven for 1-1/2 hours.
- Check cake after one hour and then every ten minutes.
- This is a very thick cake and is good for breakfast or with strawberries and cream for dessert.
