Apple and Banana Salad

APPLE AND BANANA SALAD This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Candela Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1997.
Ingredients
- 1 egg separated shopping list
- 2/3 cup granulated shopping list
- 2 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Beat yolk of egg then add sugar, flour and butter then mix thoroughly.
- Put in saucepan and put on stove then add water and stir constantly until it boils.
- Let cool completely then add vanilla and gently fold in stiffly beaten egg white.
- Pour sauce over diced apples and bananas.
