Good Ole' Kentucky Bourbon Candy

Ingredients
  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 1/3 Cup Good Bourbon
  • 1 Pound Confectioners Sugar
  • 3 Cups Pecan Halves
  • 8 oz. Good Semisweet Chocolate

Directions
  1. Cream Butter,gradually add one pound confectioners sugar,alternately with the bourbon.
  2. Beating until thick and smooth.
  3. Shape one half teaspoon each into small balls,using sugar on hands if necessary.
  4. Press a pecan half on each side of ball and chill.
  5. Melt chocolate with 1-1/2 teaspoon butter.
  6. Dip one end of each candy in chocolate and put on cookie sheet that has been covered with wax paper.
  7. Chill until firm.
  8. Makes about two and one half pounds of candy.
  9. Served with a Mint Julep would'nt be bad either.
  10. Enjoy
