Ingredients
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick butter),softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Cooking Spray
  • Colored sugar,sprinkles,candy decorations ( optional)

Directions
  1. Combine flour,baking powder and salt ( mix well)
  2. Cream sugarand butter in large bowl with electric mixer on high.
  3. Mix well.Add egg and vanilla.Mix well.
  4. Add the flou mixture.Make sure All ingredients are well combined.
  5. Chill dough for 2 hrs until firm
  6. Preheat oven to 350
  7. Shape chilled dough into two(2) 6x1 1/2 inch rolls
  8. Cut into 1/4 in slices and place on lightly greased baking sheet
  9. Sprinkle lightly with sugar or decorations (optional)
  10. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown
  11. Cool completely
  12. Makes 4 dozen cookies
