How to make it

  • Cream marmalade and shortening in large mixing bowl.
  • Beat in egg.
  • Mix in flour,baking soda,and salt.
  • Stir in pecans and raisins.
  • Drop dough by teaspoonsful,about 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 375 degrees until golden about 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Make about 6 dozen cookies
