Bourbon creamed corn

- 1/4 cupbutter shopping list
- ,1 cup chopped shallots shopping list
- ,3 minced garlic cloves shopping list
- ,1 large bell pepper chopped shopping list
- ,3 cups fresh corn kernels,or 3 cupd good canned or frozen shopping list
- ,2/3 cup whipping cream ,divided shopping list
- ,1/4 cup bourbon shopping list
- ,1 and 1/4 cups chopped green onions shopping list
- ,divided shopping list
How to make it
- melt butter in large skilleton medium high
- .add shallotsand garlic
- ,saute 2 minutes
- ,add red pepper and saute one minute
- ,add corn,and saute another 2 minutes
- ,add 1/2 cup cream and bourbon
- ,simmer
- till sauce thickly coatscorn,stirring another 2 minutes
- ,add remaining1/3 cup cream and1 cup green onions
- ,simmer another 2 minutes till thickened
- ,season to taste with salt and pepper
- ,transfer to bowl and sprinkle with remaining green onions and serve
