How to make it

  • Heat the oil in sauce pan.
  • Add arborio rice and stir to coat rice.
  • Combine the chicken stock and tomato puree in a pot.
  • Bring just to a boil.
  • Add stock mixture to rice in pan.
  • Simmer rice, stirring frequently until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
  • **You may choose to add a pinch of dried herbs (oregano, basil, etc.) to this dish while it simmers.

    The beauty of this one, boofie, is that you actually DO put in all the liquid at once! It's almost like making plain old boiled rice... Thanks for the 5. Happy Thanksgiving!
