Chilled Cherry Cheer

- 3 Cups Cold water shopping list
- 2/3 Cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cinnamon stick shopping list
- 2(16oz) Cans Pitted sour cherries shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1 Cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1 (8oz) plain yogurt shopping list
- 1/2 Cup red wine shopping list
How to make it
- In saucepan,combine water,sugar and cinnamon stick.
- Bring to a boil,cover partially and simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes.
- Drain cherry liquid from sour red cherries into a small bowl.
- Stir in cornstarch until dissolved.
- Remove sugar syrup from heat , take out cinnamon stick.
- With a whisk,stir in cornstarch.
- Return to heat,cook and stir over low heat for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in heavy cream,yogurt and wine.
- Add cherries,pour into glass bowl and refrigerator until chilled.
- I serve this in small crystal dessert goblets.
