Battered Flounder Bites

A very yummy recipe. Place battered pieces in a paper lined glass serving dish and accompany flavored mayo on the side
Ingredients
- Sauce: shopping list
- 1 cup mayo shopping list
- 2 Tbs chopped shallots shopping list
- 1 tbs chopped jalepeno peppers shopping list
- 2 tsp hot sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp lemon juice shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- dash red pepper flakes shopping list
- Fish: shopping list
- 1, 8 oz pkg hush puppy mix shopping list
- 3/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1 1/4 lb flounder fillets cut into 1/2 inch pieces shopping list
- 2 cups of oil to fry shopping list
- 1 cup flour to dredge fish shopping list
How to make it
- Combine sauce ingrdients and cover and chill
- prepare fish:
- Heat oil to 350F.
- Combine hushpuppy mix and milk into a batter.
- Dip fish into flour and then into batter.
- Fry golden about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- Serve with sauce
