Love this recipe! we have a fig tree in the yard and I always look for new fig recipes! This one sounds delicious!

Hi Joyce, I am back here to tell you that I made this pie yesterday and it came out so yummy! I had frozen figs in the freezer that needed to be used up, and this was a perfect recipe! The pie was so easy to make! The sauce is a must, very delicious, although I omitted the coffee, since my husband is allergic to cafeine. Added some pictures for you, hope that's OK. I was also curious what the origin of this recipe is, since it is so different from anything I have tried before.

I just love figs but have never tried a fig pie! The ingredients sound so delicious! I've got to try this!!
