How to make it

  • For Pie:
  • Combine the butter,brown sugar,and corn syrup in pan.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Boil mixture for about 1-1/2 minutes.
  • Stir in the figs,walnuts,heavy cream,and cinnamon.
  • Bring back to boil.
  • Reduce heat to simmer and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Fill the crumb crust with hot fig mixture.
  • Cool.
  • Cover with plastic wrap,and refrigerate until completely set,about 4 hours.
  • Top each slice with the Creamy Sauce
