How to make it

  • In a large bowl,combine ground pork, beef, ham, green onions, water chestnuts, mushrooms, garlic, soy sauce, mirin, and ginger. Mix thoroughly, set aside.
  • Arrange wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Brush edges of wrappers with egg. Spoon meat filling into the center of each wrapper. Flatten gently and bring two opposite corners of each wrapper together over filling to form a triangle or gather edges to form a pouch. Press edges to seal.
  • In a deep fryer, heat oil and fry wontons about two minutes or until golden in color, turning occasionally. Drain on paper towels.
  • Keep warm and serve with dip on the side.
