Crockpot Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe
This dish makes a yummy gravy that is great served over rice or noodles. This makes a great dish to come home to!

Ingredients
  • 6 chicken breast halves, boneless, skinless--- pounded to flatten slightly
  • 6 thin slices of ham
  • 6 thin slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup flour seasoned with salt, pepper and cayenne to taste
  • 1 lb. mushrooms thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1/4 c. parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cans of cream of chicken soup

Directions
  1. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each flattened chicken breast and roll up.
  2. Secure with toothpicks and roll each in seasoned flour to lightly coat.
  3. Place sliced mushrooms and chicken broth into the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Place chicken rolls on top of mushrooms. (Do not stand on end.)
  5. Pour the 2 cans of cream of chickensoup on top
  6. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
  7. Cook for about 6-7 hours on low.
  8. Serve with rice or noodles.

This sounds like an easy one to try come crisper fall weather.


If I had any mushrooms I would have this in the crockpot right now but instead will have to wait till I make it to store but be assured this recipe will be tried. Thanks so much for posting.
