CREAM CHEESE MANDARIN ORANGE SALAD This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Monroe Estate in Stephenville, Texas in 1982.

Ingredients
  • 1 small package orange gelatin
  • 1-1/4 cup boiling water
  • 4 ounces creamed cheese softened
  • 1 package dream whip prepared according to box directions
  • 1 can mandarin oranges

Directions
  1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  2. Mix in cream cheese slowly making sure there are no lumps.
  3. Chill until semi firm.
  4. Prepare dream whip then add gelatin mixture and beat until smooth.
  5. Fold in mandarin oranges and 1/4 cup of their juice.
  6. Pour into your favorite dish then chill.
