German Sauerkraut Salad

- 2 cups sauerkraut (1 lb. can) shopping list
- 1/2 c. sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery shopping list
- 1/2 c. thin strips green pepper shopping list
- 1/2 c. shredded carrot shopping list
- 1/4 c. chopped onion shopping list
How to make it
- Cut sauerkraut strands in shorter pieces if required. Stir in sugar and let stand 1/2 hour. Add remaining ingredients. Cover bowl tightly and chill in refrigerator at least 12 hours before serving.
- Makes 8 servings (1/2 cup each).
