How to make it

  • Cut sauerkraut strands in shorter pieces if required. Stir in sugar and let stand 1/2 hour. Add remaining ingredients. Cover bowl tightly and chill in refrigerator at least 12 hours before serving.
  • Makes 8 servings (1/2 cup each).

    I do so love sauerkraut! Thanks for the recipe. This seems as thought it would be good warmed as well, any thoughts? One of the reasons I love winter is that I can try so many hot/warm dishes!
