- ***CAKE*** shopping list
- 50g S.R. flour shopping list
- 50g margarine shopping list
- 50g Castor sugar shopping list
- 15ml cocoa shopping list
- 15ml milk shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- ***ICING*** shopping list
- 25g margarine shopping list
- 15ml cocoa shopping list
- 50g icing sugar shopping list
- 25ml evaporated milk shopping list
How to make it
- Set oven to 180C/gas mark 5
- Place all the ingredients in a bowl
- Use the electric mixer to cream the mixture. Beat fro 1 minute at the lowest setting and then turn to the highest setting and beat for 3 minutes until the mixture is soft and creamy
- Divide the mixture evenly into 8 paper cases
- Bake in the centre of the oven for 15 minutes when the cakes should be well risen and if gently pressed with the fingertips should spring back into shape
- Remove them ffrom the patty tin and place them on a cooling tray
- Melt 25g margarine in a small pot, add cocoa and cook very gently for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add 25ml evaporated milk and 50g sieved icing sugar. Spread over cakes and leave to set!
