How to make it

  • Saute bacon, sausage and onion together in small amount of olive oil until browned.
  • Add tomato puree, rice, beans, celery and stock.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat.
  • Simmer until beans are tender.
  • Add vegetables and cabbage.
  • Simmer until vegetables are cooked through.
