How to make it

  • Combine the marshmallow fluff, sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  • Continue to boil and STIR CONSTANTLY for five minutes. It’s really important that you stir the whole time, or the bottom will get burned.
  • You will see the mixture turn from white to brown as it cooks.
  • Remove from the heat, add the chocolate chips and stir until they melt and the mixture is smooth.
  • Add the nuts and vanilla and pour into a foil-lined 8-inch pan.
  • Chill until set and cut into little pieces.
