Topsy Turvy Cherry Pudding

- 11/4 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 T. butter shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- salt shopping list
- 1t. baking powder shopping list
- 3/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1 can (1lb) red sour cherries, drained shopping list
- 1/2 cup cherry juice shopping list
- whipped cream or ice cream shopping list
How to make it
- Cream1 cup of the sugar with butter.
- Sift flour then add salt and baking powder:; add alternately with milk to butter mixture.
- Pour into buttered shallow baking dish. Combine cherries with remaining sugar and juice.
- Heat to boiling point.
- Pour over batter.
- Bake at 350 for 25 minutes
- Serve with cream or ice cream
