Low Fat Chicken Pita Pockets

- 1/2 teaspoon mixed garlic flakes and dried herbs of choice shopping list
- 3 tablespoons reduced fat sour cream shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 1 cup diced red bell pepper shopping list
- 3 cups sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1 skinless double chicken breast cooked and cubed shopping list
- 1 cup coarsely diced tomatoes shopping list
- Shredded lettuce shopping list
- 1 ounce reduced fat cheddar cheese shopping list
- 6 pita pockets shopping list
How to make it
- Combine garlic flakes, herbs, sour cream, paprika and black pepper and mix well.
- Add filling ingredients one at a time stirring thoroughly to evenly coat then set aside.
- Make a cut across the top of each slice of pita bread to create a pocket.
- Divide filling evenly among the pita and place each portion inside the pocket created.
- Eat as is or if you prefer coat a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Arrange the pita pockets carefully in the dish so as not to spill the filling then bake 15 minutes.
