Ingredients
  • 1 Box Lasagna Noodles
  • 1 - 32 oz Jar Prego (your choice)
  • 1 - 16 oz Jar Prego (your choice)
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 Medium Chopped Onion
  • 1 Large Chopped Green Pepper
  • 2 - 6 oz Cans Sliced Mushrooms (watch for food allergies)
  • 1 - 16 oz Package Shredded Mozarella Cheese
  • 1 - 8 oz Package Parmesean Cheese
  • 1 - 16 oz Tub Rocotta Cheese
  • 1 - T Garlic Powder
  • 1 - T Parsley Flakes
  • 4 Raw Eggs
  • 1 1/2 Cups Milk (your choice)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F if baking after preparation, else you can cool and refrigerate over night to meld spices with ingredients and bake the next day
  2. Spray a coating of Pam in a large roaster pan with high sides.
  3. In 6 quart saucepan, boil Lasagna noodles according to box to "al dente". Drain in collander..
  4. In skillet, brown Ground Beef with Chopped Onion, Chopped Green Pepper and the mushrooms at Medium heat so that it is a fine crumble. Drain properly to dispose of, fat.
  5. Heat Prego with lid on so not to splatter and then add browned Ground Beef w/vegetables to the sauce to make what Italians call "Meat Gravy".
  6. In large mixing bowl, cream cheeses with garlic powder and parsley flakes. Add eggs, one at a time and whisk into cheese mixture. Add milk and whisk, keeping mixture somewhat thick.
  7. Layer #1: Coat bottom of roaster pan with 2-3 ladles of sauce.
  8. Layer #2: Lay 3 strips of Lasagna noodles lentthwise and half a noodle to cover end, if necessary.
  9. Layer #3: Coat Lasagna noodles with 2-3 ladles of sauce.
  10. Layer #4: Spoon dollips of cheese mixture:
  11. 2 at the top
  12. 2 at the bottom
  13. 3 in the top middle
  14. 3 in the bottom middle
  15. 3 in the middle
  16. Layer #5: Lay 3 strips of Lasagna noodles lentthwise and half a noodle to cover end, if necessary.
  17. Layer #6: Coat Lasagna noodles with 2-3 ladles of sauce.
  18. Layer #7: Spoon dollips of cheese mixture:
  19. 2 at the top
  20. 2 at the bottom
  21. 3 in the top middle
  22. 3 in the bottom middle
  23. 3 in the middle
  24. Repeat layers again and after the last noodle layer, pour the 16 oz Jar of Prego over the top to cover completely.
  25. Bake uncovered at 350° F for approximately 1 hour. Let rest for about 20 minutes then cut into squares and use a metal spatula to serve onto dinner plates.
  26. This is great with a side salad, garlic bread, Southern Sweet Iced Tea and New York Cheesecake for dessert.

You can see the roaster pan of this lasagna in my photos. I can't seem to get the file to stick when I edit the recipe for the file to show the .jpg of it.
