Ingredients
  • To make the pastry cup
  • 6 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 c butter, room temperature
  • 2 c flour
  • To make the caramel filling
  • 14 oz bag of caramels, wrappers removed
  • 6 oz evaporated milk (other 6 oz will be used later, so get yourself a 12 oz can)
  • To make icing flower
  • 1/2 c butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 c shortening
  • 2/3 c sugar
  • 6 oz evaporated milk (you know the remaining part of the can)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions
  1. Mix ingredients together all at once. Form 1 inch balls and then press into a mini tart pan.
  2. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
  3. Melt caramels with evaporated milk over a double boiler.
  4. Spoon caramel into cooled pastry cups.
  5. Combine the ingredients all at once and beat until it stands in peaks. Drop into a piping bag fitted with a star tip and pipe stars/flowers onto each caramel filled cup.
