Caramel Cups

- To make the pastry cup shopping list
- 6 oz cream cheese, room temperature shopping list
- 1 c butter, room temperature shopping list
- 2 c flour shopping list
- To make the caramel filling shopping list
- 14 oz bag of caramels, wrappers removed shopping list
- 6 oz evaporated milk (other 6 oz will be used later, so get yourself a 12 oz can) shopping list
- To make icing flower shopping list
- 1/2 c butter, room temperature shopping list
- 1/2 c shortening shopping list
- 2/3 c sugar shopping list
- 6 oz evaporated milk (you know the remaining part of the can) shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
How to make it
- Mix ingredients together all at once. Form 1 inch balls and then press into a mini tart pan.
- Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
- Melt caramels with evaporated milk over a double boiler.
- Spoon caramel into cooled pastry cups.
- Combine the ingredients all at once and beat until it stands in peaks. Drop into a piping bag fitted with a star tip and pipe stars/flowers onto each caramel filled cup.
