Wine Jelly

- 3 1/2 cups of wine (I used white zin because it is the gift recipients favorite) shopping list
- 1/2 cup lemon juice shopping list
- 1.75 oz package of dry pectin shopping list
- 4 1/2 cups white sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Wash and sterilize jars and lids. Keep jars warm.
- Combine wine, Lemon Juice and pectin in a large pot. Bring to a boil, stiring frequently.
- Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Return to a rolling boil and boil hard for 1 minute stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and skim foam off top, if necessary.
- Ladel into hot jars leaving 1/2 inch headspace.
- Tighten 2 piece lids and process for 5 minutes in boiling water bath.
