Ingredients
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 slices of lemon
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 cups dry red wine
  • sugar to taste

Directions
  1. In a non-aluminum saucepan boil water, lemon, cloves and cinnamon for 5 minutes. remove from heat. add wine and reheat, but do not boil. add sugar to taste. pour into mugs and garnish with cinnamon sticks. serves 2.
