Cornmeal Griddle Cakes Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix and sift dry ingredients.
  • Combine beaten egg and milk
  • Add to dry ingredients.
  • Stir in shortening.
  • Pour onto hot griddle.
  • When bubbles start appearing on top, flip cake to cook other side.

    I've added my 1,000 to the mix also, tink. By the way, did you ever get that kitchen for us? You know, the one mid-country? Hmmmmmm. I hope you did 'cause I am knowing that griddle cakes get cold might fast!
