Savory Rice Croquettes Dated 1954

- 2 cups cooked rice shopping list
- 2 medium eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup biscuit mix shopping list
- 2 teaspoons onion powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 cups vegetable oil shopping list
How to make it
- In medium bowl combine cooked rice and eggs.
- Add biscuit mix, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper and salt.
- Stir everything up until it is sticky and gooey.
- Heat vegetable oil until very hot then drop rice mixture in by spoonfuls.
- Fry a few at a time until they are golden brown.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and let them drain on paper towels.
