Chocolate Truffles

- cocoa powder (2 oz) shopping list
- Cream or curd Cheese (4 0z) (I normally use Betty Crocker easy spread vanilla icing, as it adds extra flavor) shopping list
- Chopped nuts (2 oz) shopping list
- icing sugar (3 oz) shopping list
- For the coating: shopping list
- cocoa powder shopping list
- desiccated coconut shopping list
- chocolate vermicelli (or Super Cook chocolate Strands!) shopping list
- Melted chocolate shopping list
How to make it
- Whip the Cream, Curd Cheese, and/or Vanilla icing together
- Stir in the Cocoa Powder and chopped nuts
- Add in the Chopped Nuts (unless allergic or preferable without)
- Stir in the Icing Sugar
- If you think that the mixture is too runny, add in more Icing sugar and Cocoa Powder. (Don't forget the mixture needs to be sticky enough to keep the toppings on)
- Topping time:
- Into four bowls put in the melted chocolate, Cocoa powder, Chocolate vermicelli and the Desiccated Coconut
- Roll small lumps of the above mixture into small bite size balls
- Roll the balls into one of the four bowls
- Place in Decorative Paper Sweet Cases
