Chocolate Truffles Recipe
Rich chocolate hand made truffles, that are perfect to make for small boxes of treat.

Ingredients
  • Cocoa Powder (2 oz)
  • Cream or Curd Cheese (4 0z) (I normally use Betty Crocker easy spread Vanilla icing, as it adds extra flavor)
  • Chopped Nuts (2 oz)
  • Icing Sugar (3 oz)
  • For the coating:
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Desiccated Coconut
  • Chocolate Vermicelli (or Super Cook Chocolate Strands!)
  • Melted Chocolate

Directions
  1. Whip the Cream, Curd Cheese, and/or Vanilla icing together
  2. Stir in the Cocoa Powder and chopped nuts
  3. Add in the Chopped Nuts (unless allergic or preferable without)
  4. Stir in the Icing Sugar
  5. If you think that the mixture is too runny, add in more Icing sugar and Cocoa Powder. (Don't forget the mixture needs to be sticky enough to keep the toppings on)
  6. Topping time:
  7. Into four bowls put in the melted chocolate, Cocoa powder, Chocolate vermicelli and the Desiccated Coconut
  8. Roll small lumps of the above mixture into small bite size balls
  9. Roll the balls into one of the four bowls
  10. Place in Decorative Paper Sweet Cases
