Oyster Stew

- 2 pints oysters shopping list
- 1/4 lb butter shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic shopping list
- 2 Tbs worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 quart Half and half shopping list
How to make it
- Saute butter, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce (5 minutes or so)
- Add oysters to garlic butter, cook over medium head until oysters are opaque
- Add half and half, simmer over medium heat for 5-10 minutes. Add more half and half if you think it is needed. Also add more Worcestershire if you think it is needed.
- At this point, you can serve. However, it is better to let the stew sit for a couple of hours, and then reheat before serving.
- You can substitute whole milk for the half-and-half if desired.
