This is a wonderful winter soup!

Ingredients
  • 1 onion, coursely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed and coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 dash garlic powder
  • 1 dash white pepper
  • 1 cup 1% milk
  • salt and pepper

Directions
  1. This is a quick and easy dish!
  2. Microwave onion and butter on HIGH for 2 minutes.
  3. Add asparagus, vegetable broth, garlic powder and white pepper.
  4. Microwave, covered, on HIGH for 10 to 12 minutes.
  5. Puree in blender.
  6. Return mixture to microwave safe dish.
  7. Stir in milk and microwave until heated through.
  8. Enjoy!
