Homemade Green Bean Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

4 cups white sauce

8 ounces mushrooms, chopped & cooked

6 cans green beans, drained (Del Monte)

1 can Trader Joe's fried onion pieces OR

1 pkg. Stoned Wheat Thins crackers, crushed

4 tbs. butter, sliced

Directions

Mix 4 cups of warm white sauce (see my recipe) with cooked, chopped mushrooms and 6 cans of drained green beans. Pour into 9x13 casserole dish. Sprinkle with either French friend onions OR 1 pkg. of crushed crackers. Dot top of casserole with sliced butter.
