Spice And Garlic Bread Recipe
A garlic bread crusty around the edges and soft like heaven on the inside, owed to aluminum foil technology.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup olive oil (or extra-virgin)
  • 3 garlic cloves, diced
  • 1 large loaf Italian/French bread
  • dried oregano
  • dried basil

Directions
  1. Obtain a cookie sheet or a baking dish that is large enough to house the bread. Lay a sheet of aluminum foil large enough to wrap around the bread after prep is done.
  2. Prepare the bread by cutting 1-inch thick pieces but do not cut to the very end. Place the bread to the center of the aluminum sheet.
  3. Dice your garlic cloves and place into bowl filled with the cup of olive oil. Using a typical spoon, spoon some of this garlic-oil mixture and pour it in between the spaces of the bread pieces. Make sure to coat the side of each piece. Coat all around the bread, too, making sure to get the sides and especially top (DON'T worry about the bottom!). Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  4. Sprinkle the dried oregano and dried basil over the loaf. You may use any of your favorite dry spices on the loaf, or a specific spice you think may complement your main course. Wrap the aluminum foil around the loaf. Place into the oven for 10-12 minutes. Enjoy!
