Ingredients
  • 4 or 5 fresh mint sprigs
  • 6 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 6 cups hot tea
  • Sugar, to taste

Directions
  1. Bruise the leaves of several sprigs of mint (about 4 or 5) in the bottom of a pitcher.
  2. Add lemon juice.
  3. Add hot tea.
  4. Add sugar to taste.
  5. Let this steep for 1/2 hour or so, then strain and chill it.
  6. Serve with crushed ice and several sprigs of mint and powdered sugar for those who like it sweeter.
