Baked Ham With Beer Dated 1977 Recipe
BAKED HAM WITH BEER DATED 1977 This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Rosenthal Estate in Montgomery, Alabama in 1989. I have made this on special occasions and it is extremely good.

Ingredients
  • 12 pound precooked ham
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 5 or 6 maraschino cherries
  • 1/2 box brown sugar
  • 8 ounce can sliced pineapple
  • 1/2 quart beer

Directions
  1. Place ham in a large pan.
  2. Rub brown sugar and cinnamon into meat.
  3. Place pineapple slices and cherries on ham with toothpicks.
  4. Pour beer over ham and baste while baking.
  5. Bake 3 hours at 325.
