Swiss Sour Chicken Recipe
This is a wonderful dish my friend used to make alot! She gave me the recipe Oct. 1989

Ingredients
  • 4 boneless chicken breast
  • 1 - 16 oz. can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 1- 8 0z. bottle Thousand Island Dressing
  • 4 slices of Swiss Cheese
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Place chicken in a 3 quart casserole dish or pan
  3. Sprinkle chicken with garlic powder, salt and pepper
  4. Put sauerkraut over chicken
  5. Top with swiss cheese slices
  6. Pour Thousand Island Dressing over cheese
  7. cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours
  8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley to serve
