Sweet And Sour Chicken Recipe
This is a easy way to make sweet and sour chicken without having to call the local chinese resteraunt. I make plain white rice to putsweet and sour chicken on top. This is a winner

Ingredients
  • 3 1/2 pound cut up chicken
  • 4 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 6 tblsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. chicken boulion
  • 3/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • 3 tblsp. veg oil
  • 1 can chunked pineapple
  • green peppers
  • carrots
  • celery

Directions
  1. In a sauce pan combine first 10 ingredients
  2. stir until smooth
  3. bring to a boil
  4. cook and stir for 2 min. or until sauce starts to get thick
  5. set aside
  6. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat
  7. add chicken and brown on all sides
  8. grease a 9x13 baking dish put your chicken in and pour sauce over
  9. bake uncovered at 350 die 45 min.
  10. while baking your chicken cut up your veggies in strips stick in microwave until they start to get soft then set aside
  11. after 45 min pull out and add veggies and pineapple chunks
  12. then cook 15 min longer
  13. This does make alot of sauce, you could possible cut this in half.
