Neiman Marcus Bars

These are very rich, almost like a kicked up brownie. The nuts and coconut with the chocolate chips put them over the edge. You have to have a glass of milk with these. Or try them hot with a scoop of ice cream.
Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix (you can use yellow or any flavor, get creative) shopping list
- 1 stick butter, melted shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 - 8 oz cream cheese block shopping list
- 1 lb box powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts shopping list
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips shopping list
How to make it
- Beat 1 egg, butter, cake mix
- Pat into a 9x13 dish
- Mix soft cream cheese and 2 eggs
- Stir in powdered sugar
- Add coconut, nuts, and chocolate chips
- Spread over cake mix
- Bake at preheated 325 degree oven for about 45 minutes until done
- It may still jiggle a little right in the middle, it will continue to cook a little after you remove it from the oven. You don't want the edges to get overdone.
