Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease and lightly flour a tube pan OR line with parchment paper.
  • In very large bowl mix the batter posted here OR quick bread mixes according to package directions.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Pour into prepared tube pan.
  • Baking time varies between 1 1/2 and 2 hours plus.
  • Cake is done when knife inserted into center comes out dry.
  • Remove cake from oven.
  • Cool on wire rack.
  • Turn out when barely warm.
  • Slice thin.
  • Freezes well
