Veal Collops In Mushroom And Marsala Sauce

- 1 1/2 lb. veal stew pieces, flattened into medallions shopping list
- 2 tbls. butter shopping list
- 2 tbls. olive oil shopping list
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced shopping list
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 2/3 cup marsala shopping list
- 1 tbls. paprika shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 tsp. thyme shopping list
How to make it
- In large saute pan, heat oil and butter to medium heat
- Add veal and stir constantly until meat is seared
- Remove to bowl and set aside
- In same pan, saute onion until tender
- Add mushrooms and cook until liquid has evaporated
- In mixing bowl, combine soup, Marsala, paprika, salt, pepper and thyme and stir until smooth
- Add veal back to pan with onions
- Pour sauce over and stir until mixed evenly
- Bring to simmer
- Cover pan loosely and turn heat down to as low as possible to bubble gently
- Let cook for an hour, stirring occasionally
- Great served with noodles
