Ingredients
  • 9- 12 dove breast (just slip off the bone with fingers)
  • 1 Lg Portabella Mushroom
  • 3 Lg. cloves garlic
  • 2 bay leaves (fresh if available)
  • 1 to 2 cups cream
  • 1 cup white wine
  • salt to taste
  • white pepper to taste

Directions
  1. debone and wash dove slice each breast in half
  2. simmer breasts with bay, garlic and a little salt with water just enough to cover about 10 to 15 min.
  3. drop water and bay
  4. add enough cream to almost cover simmer until thickened
  5. And cubed Portabella Mushroom
  6. simmer about 7 min.
  7. add wine cook long enough to make hot again
  8. salt and white pepper to taste

Yum! I bet this would be good with the goat's cheese! I am always trying out new, different recipes and often substitute the cream/or sour cream for goat's cheese, of course Chavrie. It adds a nice velvety texture with that tang! Thanks!
